Rowan along.......

As promised here are some sketches from the second lesson followed by a progression of Rowan Atkinsom depictions starting with the Sketchbook Pro sketch through to the completed photoshop painting.

Since lately I can't stop myself from drawing, I started yet another piece last night.
While doing the pencil version I couldn't help but decide to start coloring this one in. Here is the progression thus far:








Not quite happy with the hair as it looks on screen in RGB. In pshop in the CMYK colorspace it looks a bit better. Going to rework that part a bit.

I am going to attempt something I haven't tried yet. Coloring a caricature digitally. I am going to see if I can get the results I want faster than if I were to use colored pencils. If not than I am going to use colored pencils for future colored attempts.
